## Invite a Teammate to Your Workspace

FrameAI workspaces let multiple engineers work on the same projects, share results, and track revisions together. Invite your colleagues in under two minutes.

### Before you start

Workspace invitations require **Starter plan or higher**. Free-plan users cannot send invites — upgrade at `/settings/billing` first.

### Step-by-step

1. **Open Workspace Settings** — click your avatar in the top-right of Studio, then click **Workspace Settings**.

2. **Go to the Team Members tab** — you'll see the list of current members and any pending invites.

3. **Invite a new member** — click **Invite Member**, enter your colleague's email address.

4. **Choose a role** — pick one of three access levels:
   - **Viewer** — read-only access to projects and results. Good for clients or senior reviewers.
   - **Editor** — can upload drawings, run analyses, and export results. Right for engineers on the team.
   - **Admin** — full access including billing, team management, and all editor rights.

5. **Send the invite** — FrameAI sends an email with a magic link. The link expires after 7 days.

6. **They create an account** — your colleague clicks the link, creates a free FrameAI account, and automatically joins your workspace.

### What you should see

The new member appears in **Team Members** with their role and a status of **Pending** (until they accept) or **Active** (once they've joined).

### Common problems

**Invite email not received**
Check the spam folder. If it's not there, go back to **Team Members** → find the pending invite → click **Resend**.

**Invitee can't see my projects**
Pending invites have limited access — they can only see what you explicitly share. Once they accept and create an account, all workspace projects become visible.

**Can't invite on free plan**
Workspace invitations are a Starter-plan feature. Upgrade at `/settings/billing` — plans start at €9/month.

**Wrong role assigned**
Admins can change any member's role at any time from the **Team Members** tab. No need to cancel and re-invite — just click the role and select a new one.
